Mm. It's so jagged and misty at the same time. I love how dreamy it is despite the sharp edges, and the monochromatic colour scheme with the faint light source works really well.

I'm nearly 30 and have no intention of growing up :-)
Its just practice and then more practice that gets results.

I am awed by this...this is very well done.

However, if I were you, I would make the lightsource, brighter and the light shining on the ground more imposing. That way, your painting would look more impressive.

But the way it is now is already damn well done...wow...

I like that the towering "things" could equally be buildings, or the clawed hand of some giant beast. To me the possibility of multiple interpertations adds a lot to art.

I didn't actually start with a plan so all interpretations are equally valid. You might even argue that its some sort of reverse Rorschach inkblot test. Its the first image that came to mind at the time.

I love the monochromatic-ness of it (don't mind the made up words) and the foggy/dusty air leaves me thirsty. Excellent work on this one, especially for an hour's work. Keep 'em coming!

Thankyou. I'll be doing another one today I think. As for Monochromatic-ness ... its Monochromaticity (apparently) :-) , not that I know these things, I just asked the ever knowledgable Dictionary.com.

I can't wait to see it. As for 'monochromaticity,' I'll have to remember that (or at least look it up myself next time). Thanks!
